Refund & Reschedule Policy

Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Bookings for personal portraits / photoshoots
  • Package fees, deposits, add-on retouching services
  • Gift cards / vouchers

Bookings & Deposits

To secure your session slot, we typically require a deposit (“Deposit”). Unless stated otherwise in this Policy:

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable, but may be used for rescheduling or converted into studio credit where eligible
  • Payment of the Deposit confirms the booking and reserves time for scheduling preparation

Rescheduling & Cancellation

If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible (WhatsApp/WeChat/phone):

  • ≥ 2 days before the session: 1 free reschedule
  • ≤ 24 hours before the session: considered a late reschedule and subject to a 30% service fee (based on the package price)

Refunds After Services Have Started

Once services have commenced, refunds are generally not available. “Services commenced” includes:

  • Hair & makeup completed (whether or not the shoot/selection has started)
  • Photo selection, retouching, design/layout work has begun
  • Any product has been delivered (digital or physical)
    If we are unable to deliver the service due to our fault, or there is a material quality issue, we will provide a reasonable remedy.

Add-ons & Digital Deliverables

  • Delivered digital items (e.g., digital files, retouched images, design drafts) are generally non-refundable
  • Physical products in production are generally non-refundable/non-cancellable, unless there is a quality defect

Quality Issues & Remedies

If you have concerns about a physical product, please contact us within 3 days of receipt. We will assess and provide an appropriate solution.
Note: Artistic style and aesthetic preferences are subjective; we recommend aligning on reference styles with the photographer before the session.

Force Majeure

If a session cannot proceed due to force majeure (e.g., government restrictions, extreme weather, public emergencies):

  • If you are unable to attend for medical reasons, supporting documentation may be requested and we may consider rescheduling or a partial refund
  • We will prioritise a complimentary reschedule or retain the payment as studio credit for 6–12 months
